Play Your Way into Production is currently in its first release stage, and we appreciate your participation in helping us refine and enhance the experience. We hope you enjoy it. Please do send us your feedback and stay tuned for future updates!
On PC, Play Your Way Into Production doesn't require installation to your computer and doesn't modify any of your Windows system settings. Once downloaded, you can store the files for the game where ever you want, and double click on the EXE file to play it. If you are running the game on a computer protected by a firewall or other security features, you may need to ask your IT Department to grant it permission to run.
Note that the Mac version works slightly differently, in that Macs always generally require a type of "installation" for a 3rd party application to work. You will be prompted to add the game to your currently installed Apps on first run, where it will then become available to play. To uninstall it, just drag it into the trashcan.

Play Your Way Into Production requires a PC or Mac capable of running modern 3D games. We would recommend 16GB memory, an i7 processor and at least a 1080 graphics card or higher on PC. You will also need a keyboard, mouse and speakers or headphones. The game currently has partial support for gamepad controllers and touch screen monitors. The game should be fully compatible with Steamdecks.
Q. The game feels a bit laggy and slow. Anything I can do?
A. There are some configuration options in-game including "performant" and "balanced" modes. You can use these as well as reduce the overall screen resolution to increase performance - particularly on Macs where the default screen resolution is often very high. You can also press TAB to view your current frame rate and computer specification.
Q. Is it possible to skip character cut scene videos?
A. Yes, you can press the space bar to skip these if you are familiar with them and want to progress to certain parts of the game quickly.
Q. Why doesn't Explore the Set show an actual filming scene?
A. In earlier beta versions this didn't happen - it does now. Please download the game again!
Q. I noticed a character walking through objects and behaving weirdly!
A. Our initial release includes some bugs which we are working hard to fix. Future iterations of the game will include enhanced AI.
